Stretches involving your pelvis - good or bad?

Recently in Japan, you open up any magazine targeted for female and there's a high liklihood that it will include a number of pages which includes stretches to realign your pelvis. 骨盤ですね。It talks about whether you need to stretch it in or out and gives you indicators to help you know which stretch you need to do and the like.

I was one of the audiences who began it because i was (and stil am) dieting. They say that its easier to lose weight if you have a nicely aligned pelvis. So, I did the stretches diligently until I hurt my back not long after I began the stretches. Out of all seriousness I was in tears and had to go straight to the chiropractor. Luckily I did. Turns out that my pelvis wasnt the only thing that needed realignment, but the biggest thing was that you could be doing yourself more damage by doing those stretches in those magazines if you already have an existing condition - yes that was precisely me. Quite scary. These days I follow the stretches given to me by the pro and have started yoga. So... if you're thinking of doing stretches as such, maybe its better get professional advice before you go and potentially hurt yourself like me!

Site Renovation

Using this short 4 day holiday over Easter, I have decided to redo this blog. It's been left untouched for some time now, but I will probably end up using it to start venting. So, I thought I may as well redo it while time let me ^-^

Much has happened over the past few months since I last updated this blog; including my birthday. Yes I am getting old... But as a working female, I hope to think I am still on the young side.

久しぶりの更新でうね。その間また年をとってしまいました。一年というのは長いようで早くて、早いようで長いものですね。最近健康に気をつけてる私です。食べるものや適度な運動、美容のためにもきをつけています。ただ仕事を普通以上にしてるので、中々難しいですね。サイトを更新しようと思ったのは四時間前・・・ネットいじりをしてる時だけは本当あっという間に時間が過ぎます（笑）何か食べないと遅くなってしまうっ！
