Episode Twenty-three

Takemoto's day starts by preparing everyone's meal; he has almost enough money to buy a new bike. As he works with new friends, he becomes happy and finds comfort in finding purpose and seeing the smiles on the faces of Shin and the workers. Back at Fujiwara Designs, Rika talks to Miwako about wanting to do business with Ayu.

Hearing that news, Mayama goes and consults Shuuji, only be attacked with the axe of truth by Morita. As Morita points out that Mayama has to teach Ayu to stand on her own feet rather than being over protective of her, Shuuji too points out that Morita ought to clear things up with Hagu. As Morita leaves without an answer, Shuuji wonders why Morita prefers distance in his relationships.

Rokutarou points out to Takemoto that he should be on his way (coming from jealously) and with that, Takemoto realises that he still feels empty. As he walks across the bridge with Shin and draws an omikuji from the jinja while talking to Shin about life, he realises that his fear, is slightly gone.

As Takemoto starts his new journey to the tip of Hokkaido, Shin gives him his bike and gear which he used, when he set out on a similiar journey to Takemoto during his youth.
