After buying a few things from the 100-yen store, Takemoto continues his journey, now, with a bit more of a plan and food. As he goes around to various houses to fill up his water bottle, he sees personalities in houses and hopes he is seen to be open and warm like the houses he goes to.

As Miwako and Ayu are in the office having a meeting, Miwako messages Nomiya on the phone with Ayu's thought; she tells Nomiya that Ayu may have something for him and for Nomiya to stop making her have to think.

Back on campus, Hagu thinks back to the words she got from her professors, accusing her of being cheeky for not taking up the offers of the world. While Shuuji defends her, she continues to think.

Takemoto continues his journey and is amazed at small things which inspire his artistic mind. His journey is complicated however, when the chain of his bike breaks down. During his rest at a nearby park, he wakes up to meet Shin and his workers. Takemoto asks Shin for work; although he cannot do any building work, Takemoto finds that he can help with the cooking side of their life.

Meanwhile, Miwako goes blue in having to somehow deal with Ayu and Rika in the office at once. Ayu realises it is Mayama's love and is glad that she doesn't have to see the two together.

When Ayu talks to Shuuji about Rika's highheel breaking in the office, she soon finds out that those highheels were a gift from her husband.
