As Mayama wakes up, he realises he had dreamed of Rika, calling his name. In reality however, the person next to him is Takemoto... a guy. The other Hachikuro crew talk about Hasegawa as they eat his soba; Shuuji thinks back to when he talked to Ayu's father about him wanting Ayu to take on the family business with her brother who has knowledge, but not for retail.

Meanwhile at work, Mayama is teased by Miwako as Mayama, Nomiya and Yamazaki head out for a meeting. After the meeting, Rika watches over Mayama from behind the fountains; Mayama only realises this a minute too late and she is gone when he gets there. Mayama sits there at the fountain, thinking about him... and Rika.

Again the next day, Mayama is teased by Miwako, this time about him being gay with Takemoto. On a more seirous note, the workers note the increased fighting between their two twin bosses, Fujiwara Mario and Luigi. This brings the topic of Harada Designs as the workers reflect upon their times with Harada and Rika; Mayama feeling left out, as he did not know Harada before his death.

Nomiya approaches Mayama about Ayu regarding work, however, Mayama gets defensive in knowing Nomiya for his flirtatious yet severe character in regards to his love life. This backfires however, and the Fujiwara crew come to the festival the following night to tease Mayama - and for Nomiya to approach Ayu. Shuuji also points out Mayama's over-protectiveness towards Ayu.

The following day, Mayama finds both Nomiya and Yamazaki on campus with Ayu, as he too ends up staying to help with the clay-work... however Nomiya and Mayama are both scolded for fooling around with the clay and get knocked out by Ayu's punch.
