Episode Four
| Mayama
awakes during his overnight stay for work at Rika's office and realises
that Rika is singing the melody - Moon River. As he runs into Ayu, he
hides (half obvious) not knowing how to act, then to be teased by Morita
passing by. He gets a phone call from Rika who is seeing Shuuji; sensing
Mayama's thoughts towards her, Rika avoids spending time with Mayama and
leaves the university with Shuuji. Meanwhile, Morita goes and cheers Ayu
up (beaten in the process), while Hagu once again finds herself in a stressful
situation, daunted by the expectations of those around her - she is taken
to the sick bay by Takemoto. As they all walk home separately, they look
to the moon with thoughts in mind. |

| As Takemoto dwells in his bitter memories of Christmas, Morita approaches him with an invitation for a Christmas party - soon to find out that the invitation was being delivered to the usual Hachikuro crew. As he dazes out in his bitter Christmas memories, Hagu tries to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Mayama delivers coffee to Rika thinking she would be working, only to find out she was going out with Shuuji. It is later revealed however that Shuuji was merely giving her a lift in, to see her husband, Harada at the cemetry; Shuuji realises that Mayama knows parts of Rika, and his past. The holy night passes after Mayama and Shuuji join the crowd. |
